The South Korean girl group aespa returned in May 2024 with Armageddon, their first full-length studio album. On the music streaming service Spotify, one of the album’s lead singles, Supernova, has received over 100 million plays.

Furthermore, after Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Illusion, Dreams Come True, Spicy, Girls, Hold On Tight, and Drama, this is the group’s tenth song to reach the stream count. It was released as the lead single ahead of time for aespa’s Armageddon, their debut full-length studio album.
One of the hardest titles to obtain in the South Korean music industry is a Perfect All-Kill, or PAK, which the song has previously received. With the song Savage from their 2021 self-titled debut mini-album, the group achieved a PAK.
Armageddon, the album, and the music video for the album’s title track—which shares the same name—were both released on May 27, 2024, at 6 PM KST. There are ten tracks altogether, with the exception of the title tracks. The B-side tracks are Bahama, Set the Tone, Mine, Licorice, Prologue, Live My Life, and Melody.
