Ajay Devgn hints at Shaitaan 2 and Drishyam 3: “This is the time for sequels”

Ajay Devgn has gained massive success during the past two years by producing popular thriller and spooky movies, such as Shaitaan and Drishyam 2. Ajay Devgn provided an update on the future of these two franchises in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla
He stated, “Shaitaan 2 is being written at the moment. A team is also working on the next Drishyam film.” Ajay Devgn’s statement sparked immediate excitement among the auditorium audience and received a lot of applause. Ajay Devgn also said during the chat that sequels to De De Pyaar De, Son of Sardar, Dhamaal, and Golmaal are also under development. “This is the time for sequels, and that’s happening because the audience is prepared to know what they are going to get in the film. The characters become relatable and the audience is sure on what they will get on the big screen,” he continued.
Regarding reaching the Rs 100 crore milestone with Singham Again, Ajay Devgn spoke candidly. “As far as numbers are concerned, they are important, but I think the most important thing is the love of the audience. We survive on that, so when you get that, you don’t get towards numbers.”
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty discussed the future of the police universe in their conversation with Pinkvilla. They also hinted at a potential two-hero movie starring Ajay and Salman Khan. Among other things, they talked about Dhamaal 4, All the Best 2, and Golmaal FIVE. Singham Again is currently out in theaters all over the world.
