Akshay Kumar on Saturday during an special screening of his much loved film Kesari Chapter 2, along with Madhavan, addressed the spectators on the heinous issue that have ripped the nation to the core.
Akshay reacted to the mishap
As per a clip shared online, wherein Akshay is seen addressing the crowd with Madhavan, took the microphone and said, “Unfortunately aaj bhi humare sab ke dil mein woh gussa phir se jaga hain. Aap sab log achchi tarah se jaante he main kis cheez ki baat kar raha hoon. Aaj bhi hum un terrorists o ko ek hi baat kehna chahenge. Jo maine iss film mein kahi he, kya (Even today we are feeling the same anger all over again. All of you know exactly what I am talking about. Today also I want to say the same few words to the terrorists which I have said in the film. What)?”
The audience replied in unison: “F*** you.”
Akshay Kumar earlier wrote on X, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families”.
Kesari Chapter 2 has been based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire authored by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, featuring the brave C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who became the face after the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay plays the C Sankaran Nair, who battles against the British Raj claiming accountability.
About the Pahalgam terror attack
The unfortunate incident claimed lives of twenty six people, after gunned terrorists attacked unprecedently on Tuesday afternoon. The mishap took place in 3 pm leaving 20 others injured in Baisaran valley.
