Amber Heard’s family is expanding with the arrival of her second child. According to reports, the 38-year-old actress, who is already a mother to her 3-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige, is ecstatic about the news. The Aquaman actress earlier expressed her wish to have children on her own terms.
Heard is excited for herself and her daughter, a source told PEOPLE, although specifics of the pregnancy are now confidential. “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
On April 8, 2021, Amber Heard gave birth to her baby, Oonagh Paige and made it public in July, the same year. She wrote, “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.”
She talked about how choosing surrogacy was powerful and how it went against conventional ideas of parenthood.
Before their May 2016 divorce, which was tainted by allegations of domestic abuse, Amber Heard was married to Johnny Depp for 15 months. She revealed her vision for a future in which women are not compelled to choose the conventional path of starting a family. She remarked, “I hope we reach a time when owning a crib doesn’t require a ring.”
Bianca Butti, a cinematographer, was briefly romantically involved with Amber Heard. During a time when Heard was embroiled in court proceedings, they were often spotted together, which brought attention to their relationship. In October 2022, the pair was even spotted together in Spain. Butti is a graduate of San Francisco State University, where she majored in film, according to her LinkedIn profile.
