Amitabh Bachchan announces comeback with major projects after a brisk hiatus

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan disclosed that he will be returning to work after a short break. He wrote in his blog about the much needed interval and his plan to resume. “Back to work now… there was a pause before the action… but now I’m on it again, and even more,” he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan will next appear in Kalki 2898 AD 2, the second installment of Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The first film was left on a cliffhanger, when Kamal Haasan’s character, Supreme Yaskin, revived all his power. Now, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s characters must unite to battle the evil.

The megastar will also star in his much celebrated franchise, Bhootnath 3 as reported by Pinkvilla. The report added that the project is currently in the writing stage, and is estimated to be released in 2026. Even though the casting has not been announced, it is anticipated that Shah Rukh Khan will be back on board. It was mentioned that the film is exclusively built for children. The upcoming horror comedy is crafted to showcase the amicable nature of the ghost who returns for personal reasons.
