Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding: Fresh stills from Griha Pravesh goes viral

Even though Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding ceremony has been lavishly completed, their post-marriage rituals continue. Following their three-day reception that was attended by numerous public figures and celebrities following their July 12 wedding, the couple took a flight to Jamnagar.
The couple received a lavish and cordial welcome in Gujarat, a small city. The bride performed a customary Griha Pravesh at their city home shortly after.
Radhika Merchant performs rituals in Jamnagar house
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant took a plane directly to Jamnagar, the couple’s birthplace. When the couple arrived on July 16, a large number of people showered them with flowers.
The pandits on site welcomed Radhika in the traditional manner, as they do every new bride. Before becoming Anant’s wife, the bride is seen soaking her feet in red dye (Alta) and leaving her footprints on a cloth in a video that has since gone viral.
The much talked about pre-wedding in Jamnagar
Three days of pre-wedding festivities were held in Jamnagar, Gujarat, by Anant and Radhika, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani. The bridegroom mentioned that his grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, and his grandmother were born in that city.
Anant stated in an interview with India Today that he was fortunate to have grown up in the city and that they were able to organize the celebration there. “This is my dadi’s janmbhoomi and my dada and papa’s karmbhoomi,” he stated.
