Ananya Panday’s cameo appearances in films have a KKHH and Om Shanti Om connection

Ananya Panday has been spotted making special appearances despite her busy schedule, first in the song Heart Throb from the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani movie starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and most recently in Vicky Kaushal’s Bad Newz

The actress was asked in an interview if she enjoyed making cameos or if it was her way of fostering positive relationships with other actors and directors. The Gehraiyaan actress replied, “I love doing it,” in response.Ananya Panday added to Bollywood Hungama that she feels motivated to do this because of some “ungli” within her.

When Salman Khan starred in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,  she used to get excited when she saw random actors show up between movies. She recalled how Shah Rukh Khan appeared on screen alongside a number of prominent B-town stars in the song “Deewangi Deewangi” from Farah Khan’s film Om Shanti Om.

“How Karan always brings back Rani (Mukerji) and Kajol ma’am (in his movies), it’s so much fun,” she stated. Speaking from the perspective of the audience, Panday added that when moviegoers see celebrities in a film while chowing down on popcorn in a theater, they think to themselves, “Oh, that’s my favorite actor.”

On the professional front, Ananya Panday is preparing for her next Netflix film CTRL on October 4, 2024
