Angelina Jolie stated in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she wants to leave Los Angeles during her divorce battle and travel the world to see her family.

During the conversation, the star was questioned about her plans to remain in Los Angeles once her children have grown up. She replied, “I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here”.

“(After Los Angeles), I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world,” she added. She was questioned about the state of her divorce during the interview, but she declined to respond.

Angelina Jolie recently attended the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s impending divorce

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are parents to six children: Knox and Vivienne (16), Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), and Shiloh (18). With little sign of a reconciliation, the well-publicized breakup that was revealed in 2016 has gone on for eight years and is still getting “bitter.” Their $164 French winery is the subject of a nearly eight-year-long court fight. In order to ensure that their paths don’t often cross, the ex-couple has mostly avoided one another at important events and award shows.

When Angelina recently went to the Venice Film Festival to promote her new movie Maria, where she received an eight-minute standing ovation. Maria concentrates on the last few years of Callas’ life in 1977, when the opera singer battled drug addiction, vocal deterioration, and dramatic weight loss. She struggled with these problems while residing in Paris, which ultimately caused her sudden death at the age of 53 from a heart attack. The way that Angelina portrays this tragic era captures the complexity of a woman who was once at the height of her artistic abilities but, in her latter years, struggled deeply with personal issues.
