Actor Alia Bhatt wore an exquisite hand-dyed ivory organza saree by renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to her small-scale nuptials with Ranbir Kapoor. The saree had tilla embroidery, and the veil had embroidered tissue. In order to win a national award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), Alia wore her wedding saree once more.
Celebrity designer and good friend Manish Malhotra made actor Parineeti Chopra’s handcrafted lehenga for her nuptials with Aam Aadmi Party politician Raghav Chadha. Her ecru-colored bridal lehenga was worn with a mesh blouse and hand-embroidered with gold thread. Behind her tulle veil, her groom Raghav’s name was written.
When Anushka Sharma married cricketer Virat Kohli, she became one of the most famous Bollywood brides ever. She wore a pale pink Sabyasachi lehenga with bird and butterfly patterns. The bride chose a pastel color rather than the customary red, but she accessorized her look with traditional jewelry.
Earlier this year, in Goa, actor Rakul Preet Singh and director Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot. The bride looked stunning in a gold nude Tarun Tahiliani design that was elaborately embroidered with pink and peach-colored flowers. The tulle sleeves that matched her veil and were embellished with pearls and crystals made her outfit stand out from the others.
On her special day, the stunning bride looked amazing as she danced down the aisle to her partner, wearing a delicate rose lehenga designed by her close friend and famous designer Manish Malhotra. Kiara added diamonds and Zambian emeralds to finish the bridal ensemble.
