India’s Got Latent’s legal troubles are far from over, as panelists from the show Apoorva Mukhija, Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia and others continue to face the ripple effect. Amidst the scuffle, Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, has vacated her Mumbai home.
Apoorva was on a social media hibernation after the situation amplified, and thereby returned with self-love and power packed posts on Instagram. She later released a comprehensive video on YouTube and shared snippets of it on Instagram which featured the death, rape, acid attack threats she has been receiving since the uproar.
On her Instagram story, she shared a video of her Mumbai home which was later deleted. She is decked in a short white dress amidst the dim living room. The Cardboard boxes and cleaning items was spread across the floor, seemed like she is relocating from her beloved space. She wrote, “End of an era.”
Post this, she also shared a click of hers, featuring a sad face. The picture was clicked amidst a beautiful sunset. She donned a yellow crochet top flaunting a peace out sign. She penned, “Life lately”
On April 9, 2025, Apoorva shared the video on YouTube and mentioned some startling facts about having sleep paralysis. She even tried to hurt herself and said “I still have scars.”
“I am very sorry. I should have been more mindful of my words. I have learned my lesson, and I promise I will do better going forward,” she apologised.
Earlier, as per the media reports, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell recently summoned Apoorva Mukhija, Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Ranveer Allahbadia. Ranveer and Apoorva allegedly didn’t answer. Hence, the Maharashtra Cyber Police may now take legal action against them for their lack of cooperation.
