Are Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn already engaged? Singer hits back by flaunting off her ring
In the video, the pop sensation can be seen stopping her rendition of “Agora Hills” to display her ring while singing, “Rub it in their face, put a rock on her hand.”
After flashing a ring on her left hand during her performance at the iHeartRadios Music Festival on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Doja Cat put an end to rumors that she and Joseph Quinn were engaged.
The singer immediately grabbed control of her story after the show. Doja, aka Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, hopped onto her X/Twitter feed and wrote: “No, I’m not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it.”
Following the release of a video of the event online, the rumor mill began speculating about her relationship status with the Stranger Things actor. This led to her early Sunday morning tweet. The post has already been removed, but not before its brief appearance on Doja’s feed raised enough red flags on the microblogging site.
Doja Cat infatuation towards Joseph Quinn
The new revelation occurred a month after eyewitnesses observed the 28-year-old singer was amid a PDA-packed outing in London with Quinn, 30. A blurry photo of the two partying at Dingwalls in Camden was posted by tabloid blog DeuxMoi. According to other sources, the couple enjoyed a romantic date at the Coach & Horses bar in Soho, making the most of each other’s company.
Joseph Quinn and Doja Cat’s history began in 2022 when the singer messaged Quinn’s Strange Things co-star Noah Schnapp on Instagram, essentially admitting she was infatuated with the actor from A Quiet Place: Day One. In an effort to mock the singer, Schnapp eventually betrayed her confidence by posting the private conversation on TikTok.
Doja took offense with the teenage actor, calling him “unbelievably socially unaware and whack,” and didn’t let the matter rest. Additionally, she called Schnapp’s tiny antics “degrading” and “extremely embarrassing.” Later, the Stranger Thing actor added that he had apologized to her and that there were “no hard feelings” between them.
