The romantic comedy starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh had a slow start at the box office. Less than ₹2 crore was made on the first day of release, which is a pretty modest box office performance.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi made about ₹1.65 crore (nett) on its debut day in India, according to Sacnilk.com. On Friday, the movie’s overall occupancy rate in Hindi was 12.17%.
Regarding the foot traffic, morning shows recorded 8.64 percent, afternoon shows 13.75 percent, and evening performances 14.12 percent.
Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor are also featured in the movie. The movie, which was produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh and presented by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films, came out on February 21.
The movie centers on the lives of Ankur Chadha (played by Arjun Kapoor), who is afraid of his diametrically opposed ex-wife Prabhleen Dhillon (played by Bhumi Pednekar). Prabhleen experiences retrograde amnesia after Ankur falls in love with Antara Khanna (played by Rakul Preet Singh) once more. What transpires after she thinks Ankur has just proposed to her is told in the movie.
