Ranveer Allahbadia was embroiled in a huge controversy post starring alongside Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani in an episode of India’s Got Latent. On March 30, Ranveer returned to social media with a fresh post, over a month after the criticism of his offensive remarks.

Ranveer posed with his podcast crew in one of the photos. He also posed with his pet dog for a photo. Posting the pictures, he penned, “Thank you to my loved ones (red heart emoji). Thank you, universe (folded hands emoji). A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…”

In reaction, Ashish commented on a hilarious note, “Love you, But next time you are meeting me please dont crack jokes near me.”

In a different Instagram post, Ranveer also uploaded his first video following the scandal. There, recalling his ordeal, he expressed with regret and remarked, “Saare supporters, saare well-wishers ko thank you. Aapke positive messages ne mujhe aur mere pariwar ko bahut zyada help kiya kyunki yeh phase bahut zyada mushkil tha. Khule aam aise violent threats, itna social media hatred, itne saare media articles. Itna kuch dekha aur uss sab ke beech aapke DMs ne hume bahut support kiya (To all my supporters and well-wishers, thank you. Your positive messages helped me and my family a lot because this phase was extremely difficult. Facing open threats, so much social media hatred, and so many media articles—it was overwhelming. But amidst all that, your messages supported us).”

Apoorva wrote, “LESSSSSGOOOO BIG BROTHER.”

Along with Samay Raina, Ashish and Apoorva appeared as a guest on the contentious episode of India’s Got Latent, in which Ranveer Allahbadia made the infamous offensive remarks. The backlash emerged from a question posed by Ranveer to a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” Some lawmakers and social media users took offense at the comment, even though everyone on the show laughed it off.
