Nelly aka Cornell Haynes II, has been given a pass after being arrested in August for possessing ecstasy. According to reports, the rapper is not facing any accusations from the prosecution.
On Wednesday, November 13, Chris King of the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office told TMZ Hip Hop, “We don’t believe the facts in this case warrant the issuing of charge.”
The case which led to the arrest

Early on August 7, the Grammy-winning artist was taken into custody after winning many jackpots at the Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Nelly was informed by a casino police that when a person wins more than a specific amount of money, a warrant search is requested. A more thorough inquiry showed that a judge had issued a warrant in December, which linked to a 2018 charge for operating a car without proof of insurance, despite Nelly’s lawyer’s assertion that no such warrant was necessary.
As a result of the warrant, the trooper allegedly discovered four ecstasy pills in Nelly’s possession, which led to his arrest. Regarding the insurance matter, Rosenblum stated that the claim was settled once his client provided documentation proving he had
