Yashvardhan Ahuja, Govinda’s son is ready to follow in his father’s footsteps and make his Hindi film debut with National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh. According to latest reports, Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, will also appear in the movie.

A report by Filmfare claims that Babil Khan will play a significant role in Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s debut. The publication was told by an insider close to the development that another important role in the movie needed a more well-known face.

According to the article, Babil joined the team to give the role the necessary emotional depth, taking into account his prior acting credits.

As per Pinkvilla, Sai Rajesh, who has helmed Telugu films such as Baby and Colour Photo, would be directing Ahuja’s next movie in December. Moreover, Madhu Mantena, Allu Aravind, and SKN Films will produce the as-yet-untitled romantic drama.

Yashvardhan was selected for the role after a lengthy audition. The fact that the movie’s female protagonist has not yet been locked in was also disclosed.

“The nationwide hunt to lock the female lead of the film is spearheaded by Mukesh Chhabra, and the casting director has received over 14,000 audition clips so far. The female protagonist will be locked soon as makers are looking to take the film on floors by Summer 2025,” the source mentioned.
