Anand Tiwari’s Bad Newz, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, made a respectable beginning at the box office on its first day of release, grossing between Rs. 8.25 and Rs. 8.75 crore, according to preliminary estimates. It might be the biggest premiere for a Vicky Kaushal-directed movie. Bad Newz is getting good word of mouth, and if past performance is any indication, the film should make between Rs 34 and Rs 35 crore its first weekend.

Deadpool and Wolverine, the box office monster, is set to take over theaters starting next week, potentially earning the second-best opening for an Indian film of 2024 thus far, only behind Kalki 2898 AD.
