BIGBANG’s G-Dragon open up on drug usage allegations for the first time
The artist addressed the prior allegations in a light-hearted tone.

BIGBANG star G-Dragon, in an appearance at the variety show opened up about him facing the criticism and hate over drug usage allegation in 2023.
During a new episode of Untitled TV, a YouTube channel by Jeong Hyeong Don, G-Dragon spotted in the show as a gestured of gratitude for their previous collaboration on his show Good Day. It was indeed a delight for fans to witness the two stars together loved for their comedic chemistry during Infinite Challenge.
Things changed when a guest inquired, “As a fan of Infinite Challenge, there’s something I’ve always wondered…” prompting G-Dragon to immediately reference the infamous investigation in 2023.

He said, “This isn’t another investigation, is it… I was confident throughout it all.”
Host Jeong Hyeong Don questioned again with a playful tone, deeming G-Dragon a “pro” at handling investigations. The BIGBANG was quick in responding that he had already been proved innocent,
Jeong: He’s been through a ton of investigations. He’s practically a pro!
G-Dragon: A pro? I cleared everything. It was all just a misunderstanding.
G-Dragon was called out for consumption of drugs in October 2023 as per Korea’s strict Narcotics Control Act. Nonetheless, he was cleared from all charges after the tests came out to be negative in December.
