Himanshi Khurana, a well-known actress, model, and Bigg Boss 13 star, is going through a tough moment as her father, Kuldeep Khurana, has allegedly been detained. According to sources, he was placed under 14 days of judicial imprisonment by the Phillaur court in response to a complaint that was filed against him five months ago.
According to sources, Kuldeep Khurana had allegedly beaten and abused a Naib Tehsildar during the Guriya MP elections. Naib Tehsildar Jagpal reported Khurana for verbally and physically abusing him as he was on his way to work. Evidence was provided by a staff member who was with the official and recorded the entire episode on a phone.
The police reportedly carried out multiple raids but failed to capture Khurana. However, he was taken into custody at his home following a tip. Palwinder Singh, the SHO of Guraiya Police Station, confirmed the arrest and said the allegations were connected to impeding a government official while they were on duty.
Himanshi Khurana was in headlines last year when she and her longtime partner Asim Riaz split up. They reportedly split up because of their differing religious beliefs. After four years of dating, Himanshi and Asim broke up in 2023. They were the most popular duo in the television industry.
