BLACKPINK’s Lisa may have parted ways with CELINE as its global ambassador, here’s why

Post a fruitful year serving as CELINE’s worldwide ambassador since 2020, Lisa of BLACKPINK has reportedly parted relations with the upscale company. This report follows her current activities and fashion appearances, including the publication of her debut solo album under her own label, LLOUD, ROCKSTAR, which was her most recent release.

According to a Korea JoongAng Daily report published on June 29, Lisa from BLACKPINK has concluded her three-year role as the global ambassador for CELINE, the esteemed French luxury brand owned by LVMH.

The newspaper quotes people with knowledge of the commercial arrangement as confirming Lisa’s exit and pointing out that speculation started following her participation at the Louis Vuitton show earlier in March.

Lisa assumed the position in September 2020, and since then, she has actively participated in Celine’s global promotional campaigns and made a significant appearance in the fashion shows in 2022 and 2023.

Lisa’s latest engagements

Lisa from BLACKPINK just made an incredible return on June 27 by releasing ROCKSTAR, her first single in three years, through her own label LLOUD. This marks a noteworthy turning point since her solo debut with the single album LALISA in September 2021, when she became the first female artist in South Korea to sell 736,000 copies in its first week of release, shattering records.

In addition, Lisa will appear in her first acting role in the 2025 season of The White Lotus on HBO. Her recent collaborations with musicians such as DJ Snake, Rosalía, and Destiny Rogers have also brought her attention, showcasing her dynamic presence in the music industry and inspiring enthusiasm for her next projects.
