Blue Dragon Film Awards: Hwang Jung Min, Hwang Jung Min, 12.12: The Day bags major categories
The 2024 Blue Dragon Film Awards were the perfect combination of glamour, talent, and entertainment in the Korean film and culture.
On November 29, KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, was illuminated by the 2024 Blue Dragon Film Awards, which brought together the best in South Korea’s film industry. The 45th edition, which honored films released between October 2023 and October 2024, honored the greatest of Korean cinema, hosted by Han Ji Min and Lee Je Hoon, ironically the first new hosts in thirty years.
Rising sensations Noh Sang Hyun and Park Ju Hyun opened the evening with wins for Best New Actor and Actress, respectively, for their roles in Drive and Love in the Big City. Adding to the enthusiasm, Jung Hae In won the Popular Star Award. K-pop idols RIIZE and ZICO enthralled the stage with their spectacular performances, while seasoned artists Tang Wei, Lee Sung Min, Kim Go Eun, and Jung Woo Sung graced the occasion.

- Technical Award: Yoo Sang Seob (stunt) for I, the Executioner (aka Veteran 2)
- Best Direction: Seo Sung Gyeong for Exhuma
- Best Music: Primary for Love in the Big City
