Salman Khan’s war flick, Tubelight opened to 21.15 crores on the first day on box office; expectations were around 30-35 crores, but the film didn’t received a good response. Salman Khan acting along with the content of the movie doesn’t justify. Even then, ‘Tubelight’ became the highest opener of 2017 and beat Raees.
At one point of time, you will feel very emotional on seeing the bonding between real life brothers, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan, but overall, it has failed to impress us at script plot and character selection.
It was expected that the film will see a rise at box office numbers on the 2nd day, but once again, there’s disappointment. Check out trade expert Taran Adarsh tweet;

The film ‘Tubelight’ showed no growth on Saturday; it minted 21.17 crores and the total has now reached 42.32 crores after 2 days of release.
