BTS’ Jimin announces comeback with second solo album ‘Muse’ amidst military service

The label, BIGHIT MUSIC, revealed on June 17 that Jimin will release his second album, MUSE, on July 19, even though he is still serving in the military. Using the fan contact platform Weverse, they stated:

“Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We are excited to share details about the release of BTS member Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.”

Following his first solo album, “FACE,” where he sought to explore his true identity, “MUSE” documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration.

Showcasing Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum, “MUSE” includes seven tracks, including the fan song “Closer Than This,” released in December 2023.

We ask for your continued love and support for Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.”

Jimin’s work engagements

Released on March 24, his debut solo album FACE peaked at number one in South Korea and Japan and at number two on the US Billboard 200. Jimin’s emotive depth and diverse vocals were highlighted on the album’s hits, which included the historic chart-topper Like Crazy and Set Me Free Pt. 2. In addition to solo albums like Promise, Filter, and Lie, Jimin has worked with other artists on tracks like Angel Pt. 1 from the Fast X soundtrack.
