BTS’ Jin announces second album after military discharge; intimates fans in a special note

BTS’ Jin has surprised fans about his forthcoming solo album, almost six months after the release of Happy, his first work post the military discharge. The update was posted on April 15, 0 am KST (April 14, 8:30 pm IST), featuring the name of the new album ‘Echo’.

A statement was posted by the agency that manages BTS verified the news and the plans for a May release. Nonetheless, the date of release is yet to be known.

The oldest teammate has seeked ARMYs to get engrossed in a hide-and-seek game and look for the exact date. Here is the message.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We are excited to announce the release of BTS Jin’s second solo album, Echo.
Echo conveys universal life experiences and emotions through Jin’s unique and charming perspective. The album features seven tracks that showcase his versatile vocals against a dynamic band sound.
Through Echo, we hope Jin’s heartfelt wish to connect with his fans more frequently resonates with you.

A teaser image was also featured with the words, PLAY IT LOUD, BORN TO BE WILD, and ROCK YOUR HEART OUT.  The plan to publicize the album date with screens throughout Seoul, South Korea, was disclosed in a second notification. Find out where and when you can watch it.
