BTS’ Jin opens up on his regrettable moment from torch relay ceremony at Paris Olympics 2024
Jin has been very busy creating content and working nonstop since his return from a two-year military deployment.
BTS’ Jin recently made history by winning the right to carry the South Korean flag during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. What actually transpired in Paris on the historic day of Jin’s Paris Olympics torch relay has finally been made public, which has increased fan excitement.
A special BTS episode commemorating the historic day on August 11, 2024, when BTS’s Jin carried the South Korean flag during the 2024 Summer Olympics was unveiled.
It should be mentioned that Jin carried out his duties as South Korea’s torchbearer at the Paris Olympics on July 14 at 8:30 France time (midnight IST).
Jin stated in the video that he didn’t think he was the right person to do things like this because he isn’t a “athlete or someone representing my country” when he was traveling to Paris for the torchbearer ceremony. The oldest member of the BTS continued by saying that the ARMYs “made it possible” for him to become a torchbearer.
The BTS member’s torch relay came to an end, and as he was returning, Jin continued, “Should I have glanced at it (the torch) while walking?” His only regret was not checking his torch while he was walking his portion of the path, but he dismissed the emotion by stating, “That’s too bad,” acknowledging that regrets are inevitable.
On August 13, 2024, at 9:00 PM KST (5:30 PM IST), Jin will make his debut as a variety show host with RUN JIN on the official BTS YouTube channel.
