BTS’ RM’s unfavorable living conditions at the military camp concerns fans to the core

BTS’ leader RM who is serving the mandatory military service is merely 2 months away from completing the same and bouncing back to life as an idol. BTS ARMY is now in utmost anticipation for the reunion of the members.

Recently, a picture of RM is doing rounds in the internet in which he is seen in a military based with no beds, purportedly situated in Hwacheon. This has exclusively garnered criticism from fans who are dropping concerns over the unfavourable living conditions.

As seen in the picture posted by K-media Yonhap News, RM was seen lying on wooden corners of the bed along with his mates. Noticeably, the bed size seemed smaller compared to the long, muscular men who need to rest well after hours of toil and training. A fan posted on X, “Hwacheon base, on which Namjoon is stationed, is the closest to NK with the harshest living conditions and like other bases, it’s not even upgraded. No mattress, legs hanging off, -20 degrees.”

Another reminisced RM’s message on Weverse to BTS ARMY, wherein he stated how restlessness has stroke him to join the mainstream activities, meet his fans and work on new projects post the service. A comment read, “NO WONDER HE WANTS TO LEAVE SOOOOO BAD !!!!!! NAMJOON PACK UR BAGS LETS F*CKING GOOOOO.”

Meanwhile, some fans slammed the government for not paying heed towards the living conditions on the other hand, some even stressed on Jin’s take on the better living conditions at the military camps during the service. Jin claimed that soldiers do not rest at the military camps anymore, taking cue from which a fan clarified that he must be referring to some other camps. Fans also discussed the fact that Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope and Jin’s barracks were refurbished post the COVID-19 arrival, however, if that was the same for Taehyung and RM’s bases is yet to be doscovered.
