BTS’ SUGA effortlessly captures 50% of the Billboard World Digital Song Sales
SUGA from BTS, is also well-known for his solo work under the stage name Agust D has been away from releasing any new music in over a year
SUGA has taken the Billboard World Digital Song Sales list by storm, controlling an amazing 50% of the chart’s spots.
With five of the ten spots on the World Digital Song Sales chart this week—a rare accomplishment in the industry—SUGA’s power is evident. His past hits still have a strong hold on the chart, which is evidence of both his ongoing influence and the devotion of his followers, who have supported him through difficult times.
The Last, a song that reclaims the No. 1 position and is from Sugga’s Agust D character, is the peak of this supremacy. Given that The Last was included on SUGA’s debut mixtape, August D, back in 2016, its comeback as a chart-topper is quite remarkable.
One of the songs from his most recent solo album, D-Day, Polar Night, has returned to the list at No. 3, and People, a single from his 2020 album D-2, has gone to No. 4. The fact that these songs are still on the charts demonstrates how popular they are and how much ARMYs adore SUGA’s solo work.Snooze, a beloved duet with the late Japanese pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto, and The Rose’s Woosung, which debuted at No. 6 and achieved its best position to date, are contributing factors to his chart success. Haegum, the lead single from his most recent solo project, D-Day, retains the No. 9 position, capping his chart supremacy.
