BTS’ V, BLACKPINK’s Jennie dating rumors surface on the internet over alleged ‘couple pictures’

A few leaked internet photos from 2022 made BTS’s V, Kim Taehyung, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie the talk of the town and raised rumors that the two artists were romantically linked.

When the duo were spotted on a speculated date

Following the release of images of Kim Taehyung and Jennie on a purported date on Twitter, rumors started to circulate. The rumors grew after three of the couple’s private images were posted online.

The user claimed that the images validated their relationship and attracted admirers. The couple was shown in the photos enjoying some quality time together on Jeju Island.

Adding gasoline to the fire, it was purported that Kim Taehyung kissed Jennie’s forehead in one particular picture. But the Twitter account that posted this picture was later banned.

There were rumors that the photos came from Jennie’s phone, which the person who uploaded them to Twitter may have hacked. However, some people believed that the images were altered and therefore couldn’t have been taken in the first place.

No verification from HYBE and YG Entertainment

The fact that neither HYBE nor YG Entertainment responded to the rumors to refute or confirm them was the most unexpected part of the whole affair. In the past, HYBE would have promptly addressed unfounded rumors to clear the air, but because they didn’t answer, fans began to believe the rumors.

Not getting a response from YG Entertainment was not shocking, though, as they have a reputation for being unconcerned with their idols’ private lives.
