BTS’ Jin selected as the first torch bearer at the Louvre section of the Paris Olympics; deets inside

It has been confirmed that Jin, aka Kim Seok Jin of BTS, will be the first torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the famous Louvre section. On July 14, at 8:30 p.m., Jin is said to start his leg of the torch relay at the Louvre Pyramid.

On July 12, it was announced that Jin, the oldest member of BTS, had served his mandatory military duty and would be the first torch bearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics’ Louvre section. On Sunday, July 14, at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time, Jin will begin his leg of the torch relay at the famous Louvre Pyramid, which is being organized by the Paris 2024 Olympic Organizing Committee.
About Jin’s body of work
Jin’s solo hits, such as Awake from the 2016 album WINGS, Epiphany from Love Yourself in 2018, and Moon from the 2020 album Map of the Soul, demonstrate his strong vocal range and have earned him the moniker “silver vocals singer” within the BTS community.
Jin has had an equally successful solo career. He showed his versatility and maturity as an artist with the heartfelt ballad Abyss in 2020 and Tonight in 2019. His role as a soloist was further cemented in October 2021 when he contributed the main theme song Yours to the drama Jirisan.
Jin has been working on a number of projects lately. According to reports, he is filming a YouTube variety show at POSUNG High School and has shared glimpses from the recording studio.
