The departure of Jiseob from 2Z has been announced.
The group’s agency, GOGO2020, declared on November 13 that Jiseob would be leaving the group. This occurs one month after Jiseob was rumored to be taking a break due to health issues.
The note by GOGO2020 translated to: “Hello, this is GOGO2020, the management company for the band 2Z.
We regret to share some unfortunate news with you today. Recently, 2Z’s guitarist Jiseob has been on a break due to health reasons. After extensive discussions and careful consideration with Jiseop and the other four members, we have collectively decided to conclude Jiseob’s activities as a member of 2Z.
Although his time with 2Z is coming to an end, we kindly ask for your continued support and warm blessings for Jiseob’s future endeavors. Additionally, GOGO2020 reaffirms its commitment to fully support Jiseob’s musical journey if he wishes to continue.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported and cherished 2Z. We kindly ask for your ongoing love and anticipation for 2Z members Zunon, Bumjun, Hojin, and Junghyun, as they continue to bring you even better music in the future. Thank you.”
When the five-membered group 2Z made its debut in January 2020, it garnered attention since all of its members were models with an average height of 186 cm. Member Hyunwoong left the group after their second mini album was released, and Zunon took his place.
2Z recently revealed a U.S. tour, which notably featured the person who has been Jiseob’s stand-in.
