“You Can’t Pinpoint Why We’re Still There”: Aamir Khan Speaks On His, Shah Rukh Khan And Salman Khan’s Stardom

Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan all they came into the industry more than two and a half decades ago; and they are as invincible as ever. They say that stardom fades as you grow old, but at the age of 51 years, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are at the peak of their career.

Many actors who come in the industry since then, but no one has been able to match the stardom of these three. But, what’s that about Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir that clicks even today?

In an interview with Filmfare, Aamir Khan was asked about the same and this is what he had to say,

I guess somebody up there is looking out. Usually, stardom lasts for about seven-eight years. Ten years is a long time, 15 years a very long time. But 25 years is unusual. I can’t explain it. There’s no logical explanation for this.

Aamir Khan also added,

Yeah, all three of us are distinct in our philosophy of work and the work we choose. All three of us have been going strong for 25 years. Shah Rukh ka alag style aur raasta hai, mera alag style aur raasta hai, Salman ka alag raasta hai. There’s no logic. You can’t pinpoint why we’re still there.

Superstar Aamir is currently working on Yash Raj Film’s Thugs on Hindostan and will also be seen in a cameo in his home production, Secret Superstar. Bhaijaan Salman Khan will next be seen in Tubelight and Tiger Zinda Hai and  King KhanShah Rukh Khan will be seen in Imtiaz Ali and Aanand L Rai’s untitled project.
