What do you love most about your profession?
Annalise: I love that each day brings variety, and I get to travel the world experiencing many different cultures and cousines…
Please tell us about your early career days? how you came to this profession? How is your experience so far?
Annalise: I was scouted on Bondi Beach when I was 15 years old by an Italian Photographer… but I was determined to get an education so I finished high school, went to university and started to model full time when I was 21, which led to TV presenting and acting work, and I’m still modelling today! Ive been very fortunately with regards to my career, but I’ve also worked very hard, practicing yoga, meditating, eating well and training hard.
You have been published in many international magazines, do you think you have achieved what you dreamed to achieve?
Annalise: I believe the best is yet to come…
What will you choose if you have to choose one between Modelling or Acting?
Annalise: Acting, much more of a challenge.
You can speak 5 languages, tell us about it? How and when do you learn these languages.
Annalise: I speak English and German fluently, English as its my mother tongue here in Australia of course, and German because I lived in Germany as an exchange student (I wanted to learn my darling grandmothers mother tongue as a present for her) I studied Japanese in high school, I picked up Dutch from my grandparents and my travels there, I learnt Italian whilst living in Italy, and most recently I’ve fallen in love with Spanish, and have taught myself online and by visiting Spain as often as I can.
Tell us about your brand? What inspired you to launch “Annalise”?
Annalise: Ive always been a passionate environmentalist, art lover, animal lover. I majored in jewellery design and sculpture at university, so everything has been an extension of my belief system and values.

If you could time warp yourself to any point in history when would it be, who would you hang out with?
Annalise: Oh, I’d love to hang out with, dance and get my festival on with the Grateful Dead, Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin etc at Woodstock. Or Marilyn Monroe and crew in the 50’s.
What about you personally? Do you ever feel like you’ve been judged unfairly because of what you do?
Annalise: Absolutely, but in the end it doesn’t reflect well on their intelligence if they judge me due to my profession does it?
