Kapil Sharma, who has been busy with the shoots of his upcoming movie, finally put up the first motion poster on twitter. Named as Firangi, the movie’s poster gives a glimpse of the Britain’s national flag. As the poster zooms out, one can spot a British soldier, who is bending low to look for something perhaps.
The very next moment we can spot Kapil Sharma, representing one of the soldiers in a full fledged uniform, who appears quite angry by his expressions. The second he kicks the back of that English soldier, the name of the movie pops up.
One can get the basic idea behind the film which obviously revolves around patriotism. Firangi would be the second movie of Kapil Sharma, who stepped into the hindi film industry with the movie Kis Kisko Pyaar karoon. The movie released in 2015 was not a big hit but a full time entertainer.
After getting into a lot many controversies, kapil Sharma decided to take a break from his long running show ‘comedy nights with kapil’ and concentrate on his movie. After getting into troubles due to his mid air row with his co-actors thereby putting a full stop to his show, Sharma is expecting the upcoming movie to do good at the box office.
Kapil Sharma came into limelight after winning the third season of The great Indian Laughter Challenge. Later on shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6 and Comedy circus made him a popular name among the people. It was only later after his much popular show ‘Comedy nights…’, made under his home production, that kapil became a comedy sensation across the world.
Directed by Rajiv Dhingra, Firangi also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in substantial roles. The movie is expected to release on November 24, 2017.
