Star of the Court
Prachi Tehlan has been the captain of the Indian Netball Team which represented India in the 2010 Commonwealth Games and in various major Asian Championships in 2010-11. The Indian team won its first medal in 2011 South Asian Beach Games under the regime of her captaincy.
The On Screen Debut
Prachi decided to switch her career as she bagged the role of a side character in one of the most popular Indian TV drama series ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’. Also an interesting fact is that she lost 15kg of her weight in order to get into the shoes of her character which proves her dedication.
The Arjan Girl
After impressing everyone on TV, Prachi then grabbed the opportunity to star in a Punjabi film titled ‘Arjan’ in which she played the leading lady of the film. The film was a romantic drama directed by Manduip Singh.

Soon after delivering two successful performances in Punjabi films, Prachi made her comeback on TV with ‘Ikyawann’ a StarPlus drama series in which she played the lead role.

While, Prachi was busy shooting for Ikyawann, she bagged the role of a leading lady in the upcoming Malayalam period drama titled ‘Mamangam’. She will be seen sharing screen space with superstar Mammoothy and that seems to be a big achievement of her acting career.
Balancing Work
Prachi Tehlan knows very well to balance her work schedule which is why she also appeared in Sony SAB TV’s episodic horror comedy series ‘Band Baja Bandh Darwaza’ despite being busy with ‘Mamangam’ shoot.
Currently, the actress is busy with the promotions of ‘Mamamgam’. For the unaware, Prachi has also bagged a Telugu film on her work front which is titled ‘Trishanku’. The film also stars actress Rakul Preet Singh.
