Your weekly dope on the ongoing TELEVISION shows. After more than 4 weeks, The Kapil Sharma Show is finally back with a bang clinging to No.6.
Week 20 (12-18 May) has witnessed some major movement in television top 10 show according on TRP ranking.
Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show Naagin 2 had managed to always cling to the No.1 position. But the show Naagin 2 slipped to 2nd Position in week 17 (21-27 April) but it was back to the first in Week 18 (28 April-4May). Shockingly, the Mouni Roy starrer has now fallen to No.3 this week.
This is only the third time that Ekta’s Naagin 2 has lost its crown this year. First, it was displaced by Shakti. Then, Super Dancer pushed it down. And now, its Kumkum Bhagya again.
Taking the lead this week is Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha’s Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya is on 1st Position. Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai too moved up a spot to No. 2. Seems like the audience is in love with the drama in Naira’s sasural.
Finally Making an AWESOME comeback in the Top 10 after more than a month is Sony Entertainment’s The Kapil Sharma Show. The divas of yesteryear’s Helen Ji and Asha Parekh made an appearance on 13 May (Saturday), while Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor promoted their last week’s release Half Girlfriend on 14 May (Sunday).
Tha Kapil Sharma Show’s Saturday’s episode garnered over 30 Lakh views (3,721,520 to be precise) and the Sunday’s (14th May) episode saw a viewership of almost 49 Lakh (4,895,143 views).
It looks like the dark clouds are finally moving away from The Kapil Sharma Show.
