Kunal Kapoor keeps doing experiments; After playing a film producer in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dear Zindagi (2016), Kunal is all set to turn superhero in his next project. Actor will play the main title character in a new show, ‘Doga’, which is based on the indigenous comic superhero created by Raj Comics way back in 1992.
A self-confessed comic geek, Kunal Kapoor expresses his excitement at bagging the vigilante anti-hero role and told,
I have dreamt of playing ‘Doga’ for long, and I’m happy that the project is finally taking shape. Dark, angry and built like a beast, he is the ultimate badass. I will have to train in martial arts to prepare for my role. It’s going to be a huge responsibility, but I’m ready for it.
Actor Kunal Kapoor, who was appreciated for his work in the Malayalam movie ‘Veeram’, has a good line-up this year with coming next Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Raagdesh’, Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold‘ and now, ‘Doga‘.
