Mahindra Reports Strong June 2025 Tractor Sales, Up 13% Year-on-Year
Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business recorded a strong 13% growth in domestic tractor sales in June 2025, selling 51,769 units. The rise comes on the back of favourable monsoon rains, strong Rabi harvest cash flows, and growing optimism in rural India.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) had a solid run in June 2025, selling 51,769 tractors in India — a 13% jump compared to the same time last year. With improving rural cash flows and the timely arrival of monsoon rains, farmers appear to be gearing up for a promising Kharif season.
Including exports, Mahindra’s total tractor sales reached 53,392 units for the month, up from 47,319 units last June. Of these, 1,623 units were exported — also reflecting a 13% growth year-on-year.
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We have sold 51,769 tractors in the domestic market during June 2025, a growth of 13% over last year. The industry posted growth in June 2025, primarily driven by cash flow from Rabi crop harvesting & widespread arrival of monsoon across most regions. With better long-term rainfall departure this month, land preparation activities are well supported for the upcoming Kharif season. Record foodgrain production especially rice, wheat, pulses coupled with various Government initiatives to improve farmer income are expected to augur well for tractor demand in the coming months. In the exports market, we have sold 1,623 tractors, a growth of 13% over last year.”
