The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar has now cleared all the doubts related to his Upcoming Movies, Padma and 2.0, recently in a press conference.
Earlier, it was speculated that the Akshay Kumar starring movie, Padma which is produced by his Wife Twinkle Khanna, will be releasing on this Republic Day along with Rajnikanth’s Starring 2.0. It was looking as if the fight on the screen would be between Good and Bad Akshay in his two movies Padma and 2.0 recently. But now all the rumors have been clarified by the actor in a press conference.
‘Why would I clash with my own film? It will be either Padman or 2.0”, replied Akshay when a reporter asked him about it. He further added that “While Padman is a film that I have produced, 2.0 belong to Shankar, Rajnikanth’s and Lyca Productions”. He said if Lyca production wants the movie 2.0 to be released on 25th of January 2018, then he will change the release date of Padma. If he gets a green signal from Producer Shankar, he would love to release Padma on the same day.
The movie 2.0 has not been completed yet. The team has to get over the VFX and other post production work. Therefore, it is expected that the movie will not be able to launch on 25th of January. However, it has not been stated officially
