The show told a story of a 10 year old Ratan maan singh who gets married to a girl aged 18 years under certain unavoidable circumstances. Soon after Smriti Irani, Minister of information and broadcast, received the petition, the show was shifted to another slot from the Prime time. Within no time, it went off air to the prevailing issues.

Commenting on the entire issue and their further plans, Sumeet Mittal, producer of the show told that they treat audience as their assets and hence do not wish to lose them at any cost. “We are trying our best to come up with a better story line that would be appreciated by the audience immensely. We have already started to work on a new plot along with the same team.”

Inside sources are speaking of the leap that the show will take. It is expected that the story will resume from the point where Ratan would return from London after completing his education. The show will take ahead the story of Diya and Ratan thereafter.

Amidst the entire issue, the makers of the show were working on a new show namely ‘ye un dino ki baat hai’ which is telecasting on the channel currently.
