Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” has been the India’s highest earning movie ever which was the story of an Indian wrestler, Mahavir Singh Phogat who trains his daughters despite all the odds that he faced. However, if we go by what Aamir feels, his next movie, “Secret Superstar” is going to be a bigger movie than Dangal.
While giving an interview to the Reuters, the Perfectionist of Bollywood talked about the Secret Superstar which is a story of a small town Muslim teenage girl who becomes an internet sensation with the help of internet.
Aamir will be playing the character with grey shades of a music producer while the role of the teenage singing sensation will be played by Zaira Wasim. Zaira is the same girl who also played the character of Aamir’s elder daughter in Dangal. Aamir talked about both of his movies, he said, “While both are about the empowerment of the girl child, I feel it (Secret Superstar) is a much bigger film. While Dangal was about the dream of a father which a daughter fulfils, this is about the hopes and aspirations of a 14-year-old girl from a small town in India. I don’t know what the box office will be but it’s a bigger film than Dangal in what it’s trying to say.”
The producer of the movie is Aamir himself and his wife, Kiran Rao and the movie is going to release on 19th October, 2017.
