Dalljiet Kaur seeks justice post filing FIR against estranged husband, Nikhil Patel

Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel has made accusations against one another ever since they announced their divorce earlier this year. Dalljiet has accused Nikhil of cruelty and criminal breach of trust, and she has even filed a formal complaint against him. At this point, she expressed her desire for justice.
Dalljiet Kaur tags Mumbai Police
On Thursday, Dalljiet posted a picture of a hoarding of Mumbai police on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “No matter where in the world, I know justice will be served.”
Dalljiet reported Nikil to the Mumbai police department’s Agripada station on August 2. She filed a complaint against Nikhil under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 85 and 316(2), alleging criminal breach of trust and cruelty.
She also filed a lawsuit against Nikhil in Nairobi City court in June of this year. He was barred from taking her and her son out of their Kenyan home by a stay order that she obtained. She had received a legal notice from Nikhil accusing her of harassment before this. Her social media posts accusing him of having an extramarital affair were untrue, according to his complaint.

Ten months after getting married in March 2023, Dalljiet and Nikhil filed for divorce earlier this year. This year, on his birthday, she posted pictures of their wedding and accused him of hurting her.
She wrote, “Right from sending my belongings to a storage house much before the date given by you through your PR articles to wiping the wall which I had painted for months with my chuda that I loved so much. And keeping a book in the foreground saying “subtle art of caring a FU**” You have impressive ways to hurt me. And I know you are not done. You will come up with more ways soon.”
