BTS conducted their first ever livestream on July 1, after a break of almost 3 years post the military enlistment in 2022. The stream was indeed an exclusive moment for the fans who have been anticipating to see SUGA post the comeback.

However, SUGA seemingly hid his hands from the camera that led to concerns among the fans of a possible injury.

BTS’ SUGA back on track

During the livestream on platform Weverse, BTS shared their upcoming plans expected to be launched in Spring 2026, including the release of new album.

During the fun moments, leader RM randomly screamed the music show phrase, “wait for a while,” that persuaded the fans to raise their hand and show their palms to the screen.

Except, SUGA who did not act, unlike others. Initially, everything seemed fun and normal to the fans, but later they derived a conclusion that perhaps it is an alleged injury on his palm. The rapper at the end waved at the screen that let the viewers notice his folded skin.

SUGA’S DUI Case

Earlier, SUGA was detained on August 6, 2024, post his alleged involvement in an electric scooter DUI case. He was ordered to pay a hefty fine of 15 million won (approximately USD 11,500). Post the incident, he had publicly apologized over the incident and thereafter had remained away from the spotlight.

He has yet again shared an apology note on his personal Weverse account. He was last seen in Jin’s solo concert on June 29 with teammates Jungkook and Jimin, posting updates on Instagram Story after 2 years.
