The artist gave a show in Manchester on Saturday as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, which is presently touring the UK. He gave the girl a really nice present during this show. When he learned that she was from Pakistan during their talk, he offered a moving speech that made the audience applaud. The viral video is now available on the internet.
“Hindustan, Pakistan , sade layi sara ek hi hai (Be it India or Pakistan, it is one for me). Punjabiyan de dilan ich sabde layi pyar ae (There is immense love for all in the hearts of every Punjabi). Ae sarhada, ae borderan, ae politicana ne bnaye hoye ne, par jo Punjabi maa bolne vale hai, vo chahe edr rehnde ne chahe odr rehn dene, sade sare sanjhe ne (These borders are made by politicans, but people who know Punjabi, be it from any corner of the world, they all are same). So jede mere desh to aye ne, India ton aye ne, ona nu vi swagat niga, te jede Pakistan ton aye ne, una nu vi swagat niga. (So people who have come my country India, and people who have come from Pakistan, I welcome you all. Thank you ma’am,” he stated.
Diljit made his first-ever introduction to his family to his fans. He was observed hugging and bowing to a woman throughout the performance. Then he raised her hand and said to the crowd, “By the way, this is my mom.” As he gave her another hug, his mother started to weep. Diljit then shook hands and bowed before a different woman. The singer added, “She is my sister. My family has come here today.”
Upcoming engagements
This October, Diljit will start the Indian portion of his tour following his overseas trip. On October 26 of this year, the trip will begin at the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The journey will travel to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati after stopping in Delhi.
Recently, Diljit said that he will be starring in Border 2, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Sunny Deol. Filming on the sequel is anticipated to start in November, with the Battle of Longewala serving as the backdrop.
