Jatt and Juliet 3 has set a record for the biggest advance sales of Punjabi films ever, as was to be expected. The Diljit Dosanjh starrer had made approximately Rs. 1.40 crore from pre-sales on its first day of release.  Carry on Jatta 3 from previous year set the previous record for the advance with sales of Rs. 1.10 crore on its first day of release.

The fact that these developments occurred on a non-holiday Thursday and with a smaller display because of a clash of Kalki 2898 AD makes them even more remarkable.
