Ajay Devgn will be back in the role of Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 3, indeed the best surprise for crime thriller fans. As per a viral post by Panorama Studios International Limited on 30 May 2025 the film is set to be released soon. The formal disclosure issued with the Bombay Stock Exchange on May 29, 2025 mentioned the plausible date of release.
Drishyam 3: Release date announced
Even though the makers are yet to officially announce the release date of the third installment, the film will be released on October 2, 2026.
The internet has been going berserk over the announcement that seemed unprecedented. Reportedly, the makers will unveil the film next year on Gandhi Jayanti. The fans of the Drishyam franchise are even more excited to witness the special link of the film with the release date.
The issued announcement issued on May 29 in accordance with the Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, mentioned that the filming is set to commence soon.
No points for guessing, the film will be led by Ajay Devgn, under the direction of Abhishek Pathak, and co-produced by Digital 18 Media Private.
The venture filed the notification with the stock exchange to cater its legal obligation of revealing material information involving the investors.
“We are pleased to inform you that the company has entered into an Production Agreement with M/S. Digital 18 Media Private Limited, for the production of a Hindi feature film titled as a “Drishyam 3,” the film starring by Mr. Ajay Devgn and others, directed by Mr. Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 which is a franchise of the Hindi film “Drishyam,” the official letter stated.
About the Drishyam franchise
The initial part of Drishyam was made public on 2015, thereafter the much anticipated sequel in 2022. The second film starred Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, and Ishita Dutta in the lead roles. Both the films were box office hits of the respective years.
