Alongside Chanyeol, Suho, Kai, D.O., Chen, Sehun, Xiumin, and Lay, the artist began his career as a K-pop idol in 2012 through EXO. But in early 2024, Baekhyun declared he was leaving SM Entertainment and starting his own agency, INB100, where he will continue to pursue his solo endeavors.
