After the ghastly attack at the tourists at the Pahalgam valley in Kashmir by armed terrorists, tensions between neighbouing nations India and Pakistan has risen to the core. On April 22, 26 innocent lives were claimed and left several injured, India terminated the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 in retaliation. As a result, Pakistan had to bear the brunt, since the country massively relies on Indus River to carry forward its 80% irrigation activities and 90% of its food production.

A video posted on X went viral amidst the tensions. A group of boys is seen packing and sealing a carton filled with water bottles. The label on the box read, “To Hania Aamir. Rawal Pind. Punjab, Pakistan. From India.”
Hania Aamir gained stardom for her hit shows including Mere Humsafar, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum among others. She also enjoys a huge fanbase in India with people loving her screen presence, warm demeanor and exceptional profile.
While some took it on a lighter note, other slammed it and stated that this is not the adequate time to craft jokes. Some comments read, “galat kya kiya usne” and “poorly timed”
Hania’s reaction to the attack
Previously, Hania posted an emotional note on her Instagram Stories on the Pahalgam attack, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope-we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone-it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.”
Her statement gained widespread support and appreciation, yet it was deleted after a while.
Sardaar Ji 3 conjecture
According to media reports, a new actor might be called on board in replacement for Hania for the upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3, featuring Diljit Dosanjh. The shooting in UK has been completed, however as per insider sources, it may be reshot with the replacement.
