Train to Busan

Released in 2016, Train to Busan is a zombie thriller movie. In the midst of a global zombie apocalypse, it narrates the tale of travelers traveling from Seoul to Busan in search of a survivor camp. A father and his daughter are riding a train in the role that Gong Yoo portrays. In the beginning, he is portrayed as a character who has succumbed to the capitalist society, but with time, he develops as a person and we witness him making choices that affect not just his own daughter but also the lives of others.

The fantasy romance Goblin was released in 2016. The narrative narrates the tale of Kim Shin, a warrior who was put to death by his monarch and doomed to survive for centuries until he discovered love. The undead Goblin eventually marries in Seoul, but destiny has other ideas. The primary characters are Yoo In Na, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, and Gong Yoo. He portrayed every emotion, including loneliness, love, and loss.

Squid Game

In the survival drama Squid Game, a group of people sign up to play a game in which winning entails a chance at great fortune. But when the truths about what it means to lose are exposed, the illusion of it all crumbles. Netflix has also confirmed that Squid Game Season 2 will premiere by the end of 2024. The enigmatic man, portrayed by Gong Yoo, approaches the main character at the train station and invites him to play the game. Fans were aware of Gong Yoo’s brief guest appearance in the series, despite its briefness.

In 2000, Gong Yoo began working as a video jockey. In 2001, he made his stage debut in the play School 4. He made his debut with 2003’s My Tutor Friend.

The actor has appeared in several dramas, including Big, The Silent Sea, Coffee Prince, Goblin, and Squid Game. In addition, he appeared in a number of well-known films, including Train to Busan, Kim Ji Young: Born 1982, and Silenced.

Alongside Seo Hyun Jin, Gong Yoo will play the lead in the mystery thriller The Trunk. The mystery romance centers on the relationship between a music producer and the head of a marriage counseling service.

The performer is coming back for Season 2 of Squid Game. Netflix has confirmed that there will be a sequel, which should be out by the end of 2024.
