Harry Styles donates his hair since 2016; here’s why

Harry Styles is a well-known pop icon in Hollywood who began his career in the boy band One Direction.

But in 2016, he chopped off his hair before entering the acting world with Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan. However, that was meant for a greater purpose.

Why did Styles chopped his hair?

Harry Styles posted an image of his chopped braided hair on his Instagram account in May 2016, captioning it, “Whoops. #Littleprincesstrust.” Little Princess Trust is an NGO or charitable organization that works toward a larger cause. They gather hair and make real hair wigs for the children who have lost theirs to cancer.

Posting a picture of cardboxes, they wrote in the caption, “Thank you @harrystyles for donating your hair. It left last week along with other fantastic hair donations, on its way to the wig manufacturer.”

Harry Styles communicates well with the patients

.Harry Styles has consistently been a good-hearted man. He had visited Campbell Hyott in 2014; Hyott was afflicted with ependymoma, a type of cancer that affects the spine and brain. He also got in touch with Jessica, a four-year-old who was fighting terminal cancer, in 2016.

A family member shared with Daily Mail, “Well that was a surreal telephone call… An unknown number I answered for it to only be HARRY STYLES ringing from the USA.”

Kaylee, a 19-year-old with stage 4 kidney cancer, desired to attend a Harry Styles concert in 2022. Her mother purchased three tickets for each of his performances. Kaylee tossed a T-shirt with a message to Harry onstage during one of them. Throughout his performance, he held onto the T-shirt tightly.

Kaylee mentioned in conversation to Fox 7 Austin, “He went, and he caught it and held it throughout the entire song, and he held it up to his face, and it was like he was dedicating the entire song to me and at the end, he looked over at me and held up the shirt and said, ‘thank you, Kaylee’ and I just flipped out.”
