According to reports, the RRR star and Shankar, the director of the action-thriller Game Changer, have quoted a lower salary for the film than what was first anticipated, even though the release is just a few days away.
A report from Great Andhra claims that Ram Charan has only agreed to a payment of Rs 65 crores for the movie, particularly in light of RRR’s worldwide popularity. Because of the delays and postponements of the film, the actor chose to accept a lesser salary.
However, there has been no official confirmation as of yet, so these are merely rumors. On January 2, 2025, the official trailer for the movie was released. With just a few days to go before the movie’s release, the filmmakers held a trailer launch party in Hyderabad, featuring director SS Rajamouli as the chief guest.
Ram Charan plays an IAS officer in the movie’s trailer who aims to purge corruption from the political system. The international celebrity played a dual role of a father and a son in the two-minute and forty-second teaser.
Kiara Advani plays Charan’s love interest in the movie, with other stars including, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, and others.
Additionally, it seems that the film’s director, Shankar, has only been compensated Rs 35 crores, a lower amount indeed.
Director Karthik Subbaraj wrote the script for the movie, and Thaman composed the music. Four of the songs are already accessible on streaming services.
