Several of the most adored Gen-Z celebrities have emerged as the most paid actresses under 30 in Hollywood. Leading the list is Zendaya, who is most recognized for her roles in last year’s smash hit movie Dune: Part 2 and the teen favorite drama Euphoria. Sydney Sweeney, a fellow Euphoria star who also became an entrepreneur by starting her own production firm, came in third on the list.

Millie Bobby Brown, star of Stranger Things, has surpassed Sweeney to grab the second position. Meanwhile, Zendaya for her most recent movie, Challengers, which was helmed by Luca Guadagnino, demanded $10 million. Brown received the same sum for Enola Holmes 2 as well. In the meantime, Sweeney’s performance in The Housemaid brought in $7.5 million.

Fifth place went to Oscar-nominated Florence Pugh, who will received $7 million for her role in the upcoming Marvel movie Thunderbolts. Jenna Ortega, who demanded $6 million for her untitled J.J. Abrams movie, was next on the list.

Netizens have been competing between Millie Bobby Brown and Sydney Sweeney, who starred in Anyone But You, for the coveted part of playing music icon Britney Spears in her biopic. The controversy has been exacerbated by the actresses’ placement next to one another on the list of the highest-paid under-30 celebrities. It’s interesting to note that Brown, who founded Florence by Mills, has publicly stated her wish to take on the part.

When Brown appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2022, she expressed her admiration for the singer and stated that playing Spears would be her ideal role.

“I want to play a real person, and I think for me, it would be Britney Spears,” she stated. “Her story resonates with me. Growing up in the public eye. Watching her videos, watching interviews when she was younger … I see the scramble for words,” she added.

Netizens, however, think Sweeney would be more appropriate for the part and would do a fantastic job capturing the emotional aspects of Spears’ story.
